Built in traditional Lakeland stone & style, The Coppice sits quietly in an elevated position between the villages of Windermere & Bowness.
As a quality Guest-House we offer a superb Bed & Breakfast experience with an extensive choice Dinner Menu and Wine list in our award winning Licensed Restaurant. We use all local quality foods from free range eggs, Huddlestons Champion Sausages, home cured bacon, Fellbred meat & fresh fish from the family firm of Neves of Fleetwood and bake our own bread for dinner.
Our spotless bedrooms are mostly DOUBLE-BEDDED, some FOUR-POSTERS, all en-suite Showers, some Baths, with 2 FAMILY-Rooms (one a FOUR-POSTER). These are used as Doubles, Twins or single accommodation as required.
All our interior designed, individually decorated rooms have DVD /Video TV’s, complimentary Tea/Coffee trays as well as a small decanter of sherry and other comforts, which accommodate your requirements on quality and price.
Free use of LEISURE CLUB nearby 2 mins by car to swim steam or sauna, we also have FREE fishing licenses on most local rivers and Lakes.
We accommodate and cater for Family Parties and Weddings for up to 20 guests.
